Directly from the bridge of the USS Voyager. This commissioning plaque is a scaled reproduction (1:1.6) of the one seen on the bridge of Captain Janeway's USS Voyager in the TV series Star Trek: Voyager. Just as the original, this plaque is inscribed with the name of the show's creator, Gene Roddenberry as "Chief of Staff". Listed as “Starfleet Command”, “Fleet Ops”, “Research & Development”, “Science Ops”, “Tactical Ops”, and “Yard Engineers” are also the names of producers, writers, and crew who worked on the show. The comm badge symbol, “USS Voyager”, and the boarder and corner pins are raised while the names below are recessed or embossed into the plaque. Also embossed at the bottom of the plaque is the quote by Alfred Tennyson, "For I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see; Saw the Vision of the World, and all the wonder that would be..." Each 8-1/2" x 6-3/8" plaque is crafted in cold cast resin, which is then hand painted making each one slightly unique.
